TEACHERS:

  1. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE PARTNER COUNTRIES?

PIOTR (History teacher):

As we’re talking about partner countries, I have some basic, rather encyclopedic knowledge about the location, capital cities and their place in Europe. I know a bit more about their history and connections with Poland.

MARCIN (PE teacher):

I know the geographical location of the partner countries, their capital cities and some other main cities. I also know some historical characters (national heroes).

  1. DO YOU KNOW WHAT GOLDEN SECTION IS?

PIOTR:

The term ‘golden ration’ is familiar to me. I stumbled on it while elaborating on some topics from the history.

MARCIN:

I came across this term during my studies while learning about human anatomy, and to be more precise – during elaborating on Italian Anthrop School (ideal proportions of human body).

  1. WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES DO YOU THINK WE WILL DO TOGETHER?

PIOTR:

I’m going to participate in the whole project, and especially in its part connected with art and architecture.

MARCIN:

My part in this project is dealing with sport and biology (anatomy) issues, and general translation.

  1. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT TO GET/REACH FROM THIS PROJECT?

PIOTR:

Participation in the project undoubtedly forces me to improve my knowledge about golden section in general, and particularly in art. I hope I’ll also have an opportunity to get to know some new forms of work with the students.

MARCIN:

First of all I’d like to extend my theoretical knowledge about golden ratio and its practical use in different fields of our life – mathematics, biology, art, etc. Participating in this project let me check my English in real-life situations and I’ll get the opportunity to improve it. Another thing is meeting new people and skill-sharing. I also want to learn something more about partner countries – their culture, history, customs and people.
