COMENIUS QUESTIONAIRE

 

 1. What do you know about our partner sin general?

 Teachers’ answer:

 Teacher1: East part of Europe, Romania, Bulgaria have started to develop. Turkey is not a EU member state, they have other culture, other religion.

 

Teacher2: I haven’t been to Bulgaria yet, but I would love to visit the Black sea once…. I know a few towns in Turkey such as Istanbul, Rodosto and Edine.

Cracow is a never-ending experience for me. I would love to visit it very much as I hadn’t been able to see everything I would have loved to….for instance the Jewish quarter.

I have already been to Transylvania for a lot of times and I hope I can visit there again

 

Teacher3: Obviously a lot. Even several sheets of paper wouldn’t be enough to tell you about it.

 

9th  grade students’ answers:

 

Student 1: All of these countries have got a beach. Lots of Hungarian people live in Romania. Bucharest is the capital city of Romania. Turkish people are Muslims. The local currency of Romania is Lei. Warsaw is the capital city of Poland.

 

Student 2: Romania is located east from Hungary, and it has got a sea, the Black Sea. The local currency is Lei. The capital is Bucharest. I have been there with the Csipero. I enjoyed it because we went to Marosvásárhely (Tirgu Mures)

Turkey is a huge country. The capital is Ankara. They have interesting culture and wonderful buildings. It has got 3 seas.

10th  grade students’ answers:

  

Student 1:  In Romania there are Hungarian habitants as well, who have different traditions (just like every nation) which can be really interesting and in Transylvania there are amazing sights in the mountains.

Poland is on the northern part of Europe and it’s quite huge. The industry is important and Poland has two sea parts at the coast of Baltic Sea. We have mutual history and many Hungarian people have Polish friends.

Student 2: I know their localization: Romania borders on Hungary on the West, Poland borders on Germany, and Bulgaria and Turkey border on the Black Sea. Three of these countries, Romania, Poland and Turkey have historical relationships with Hungary. Unfortunately I haven’t visited any one of them yet so I don’t have personal experiences.

  

 Student 3: Romania is our neighbor country and I have been there 3 times, and I like Transylvanian food like corn porridge. With the Polish and the Turkish our history is linked. We had mutual kings too. And with Poland we are in a tight friendship.

11th grade students’ answers:

 

Student 1: Romania is border with Hungary. It is rich in mineral resources and it’s a developing country.

Poland it’s a really big and beautiful country it has a really nice tradition.

Bulgaria has really good economy and hard transfer road. I think it’s a rich country.

Turkey is in Europe’s south part. It has a really big sea. It’s a really nice holiday place.

 

Student 2: These countries in Europe, but a part of Turkey isn’t here. Lot’s of Hungarian peoples live in Romania, and Romania is the nearest.

 

Student 3: These countries belong to the European Union.

Turkey: The capital is Istanbul. Most part of Turkey area is in Asia. The religion is Muslim. They have a really different culture.
Poland: The capital is Warsaw. This country belonged to Hungary in the past.

Romania: In this country 1, 5 million Hungarian people. The capital city is Bucharest.
Bulgaria: This country located in the Balkan.

 

2. Do you know what golden section is? If yes, write about it in details.

 

Teachers’ answers:

 

Teacher1: A ratio. It is he connection between the parts and the whole.

 

Teacher2: I know, but I would rather not write the Maths formula here…. J  although it is always a happiness for me to recognise the „Golden Section” in one or the other piece of art’s structure.

 

Teacher3: Golden section, golden ratio or divine proportion. It appears in nature, arts.

 

9th grade students’ answers:

 

Student 1: I don’t know what Golden section is. Teachers told me some information but I only know that it is connected with Maths and IT.

Student 2: The smaller number rates the same way like the bigger number rates the sum of the smaller and bigger number.

Student 3: It can be found everywhere. For example we find it in the nature or in our body or in the history.

 

10th grade students’ answers:

 

 Student 1: I’m not sure, so I don’t write anything. (I mean I’ve heard about it but probably I couldn’t explain it well.)

 

Student 2: The only thing I know about it that’s it is based on the number 24, and the Hungarian Holly Crown was made on the basis of golden section.

 

 11th students’ answers:

           

Student 1: This is a proportion we can find it all in the nature. For example see the upper body is one-third, the lower body is two-third part of the full body.

Student 2: It defines nature’s ambition for the one-third – two-third ratio of creatures. For example: snail house, human proportion.

 

Student 3: Leonardo da Vinci made this.

  

3. What activities do you think we are going to do together?

 

Teachers’ answers:

 

 Teacher1: We will travel, talk, work in groups, solve creative problems and the top of all ,I hope, we will laugh a lot.

 

Teacher2: Theoretical “contest” and acquaintance of other “nations”. Practise the mutual language.

 

Teacher3: We’ll have fun & deal with golden section.

 

 9th students’ answers:

 

Student 1: I think, we will talk about the golden section. We will play some sport games. I will know new people.

Student 2: I think we will solve a lot of math problems. We will work in groups with strangers from different countries. We will listen to some interesting performance.

 

10th students’ answers:

 

Student 1: We will speak in English a lot about the given topic and of course about what we want. So in my opinion it will be a fantastic pastime.

  

Student 2: I think the participants will work on a project together in the topics and they have to solve tasks, which are chosen by the teachers. Moreover, they’ll have a fun, but of course, this program won’t be about only enjoying themselves.

 

Student 3: I think we’ll go on excursions, and get to know more about the country and the place we’ll visit. We’ll work together on the projects and in our free time we’ll play and chat.

  

11th students’ answers:

 

Student 1: I think we will learn about bodies, or we’ll do some interesting exercises, we’ll learn about each others’ traditions.

 

Student 2: I think, we will do projects, and we’ll going for a trip.

 

Student 3: I think there will be exercises, which could be community builder
 

4. What do you think we will gain at the end of the project?

 

 Teachers’ answers:

 

Teacher1: I think we will gain experience, new acquaintances and most likely we are going to improve our problem solving ability as during such projects nothing goes “perfectly” on its own way.

 

Teacher2: Cost free travelling, a lot of experiences (towns…) Prize (in money)?

 

Teacher3: Awesome experience.

Student 1: We will get new friends, knowledge about Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and Turkey. We will practice English.

 

Student 2: We will meet a lot of interesting people at our age. We can practise the English language. We can know different unknown traditions and cultures.

Student 3: We can make a lot of friendships. We can learn the other country’s culture. We can practise the language.

Student 1: We’ll get books, posters, or I don’t know, but I think the most important thing is to meet other people from other countries, get acquainted with their culture and get experiences.

 

Student 2: experience and adventure, I’m sure.

Student 3: I think we will win experience, but it’s not a problem.

 

 11th students’ answers:

 

Student 1: We’ll get a travel to a foreign country, we’ll learn a lot and we can speak better in English.

 

Student 2: I don’t know, perhaps we’ll win a trip.
