I was always interested about culture. Since I was a child, while studying  maps in my geography book, I was planning to see the world, visit every country, every capital, every corner. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to make much progress realizing that dream, mostly because of financial reasons, but I still want to travel to countries like the ones involved in this project.

Poland. It is a Central European Christian country, with great historic monuments, architecture and famous pioneers of art and science. I heard about magnificent views at the Baltic sea, but as I have a great passion for automobiles, I admire the polish-italian legend : the FIAT Polski. Despite the fact, that my country is in  the vicinity of Bulgaria I have never been there before. It is not the number one country I would like to see, some say it’s not the most beautiful place, some say the Bulgarian beach is phenomenal, and proven by photos I really agree whit the last statement. Hungary is the first foreign country I’ve been to. It is the nearest country to us, and the most familiar for Transilvanian people. I enjoy going there, I like Hungarian people and the cuisine.

History, style, adventure these are the terms which define Turkey in my own dictionary. It is the place where I would love to go sight seeing, exploring, taking tours. I  have always wanted to negotiate with Turkish people, and  have the experience of trying an original Turkish water pipe.

To be honest I first heard about the golden section through this project, and since that I have become really interested in it. Teachers told me that the golden section is about a proportion rule, it sounded like a math problem, than I was told that these ratios were discovered to be highly esthetic in the art of imaging, architecture. When I heard that this proportion is present in our bodies, and it is close to a mathematical perfection in the body of a fashion model, I was getting the thought that the golden section surrounds us, and it somehow makes things significantly comfortable for the eye.

Overlooking that I haven’t accomplished yet something big  related to art, I do consider myself an artist. As I mentioned before I really like cars, that is why my art “department” is industrial designing. I hope this project will meet at some level with the art of automobile designing.

What inspired me to participate is the idea of combining the scientific theory of the golden section with my art world. I would like to find out if the golden section has the power of truly making things look good, and if it dose is it possible to make cars look astonishing with the help of it. I think this could be a big step in developing my art, and I look forward to taking part in this great chance.
